Wake up America! Our freedoms are being swept away by the actions of the 111th Congress, the President, and our misguided perception that we cannot stop these changes from happening. It’s time to take action, wake up the “silent majority”, and vocalize our concerns about the direction the current administration is aggressively pushing us. Everyone who believes in the democratic values of liberty and justice, as written in the Constitution, must begin to act to uphold these principles. Peaceful action can be expressed through writing, phoning, or e-mailing your local Congressional representatives; by viewing blogs, such as this one, daily and taking the time to read the posted articles and log onto the listed web sites; by forming local grassroots groups that promote the Constitution and the traditional values of family, God, and love for America; by talking to friends and growing comfortable about expressing your point of view in a public forum; by attending meetings, researching topics, and being an informed voter; and by supporting political candidates and legislation that uphold the Constitution and America’s Judeo-Christian values. We can no longer be “too busy” to get involved at some level. Get moving now; let’s put our Constitutional rights into practice and bring America back to its democratic principles. We must do this for our children and for all future generations. God bless America.
